Step 1: Boil and Mash the Potatoes
Boil the potatoes in a saucepan until fully cooked and mashable. Peel, then mash until smooth. Set aside.

Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Mix in dabeli masala, Kashmiri red chilli powder, and salt. Sauté for a minute, then add the mashed potatoes. Stir well to combine. Sprinkle lemon juice and mix. Set aside to cool.

In a small pan, heat oil. Add peanuts and roast until light brown. Sprinkle the spice powders and salt. Toss well to coat evenly. Set aside.
