The following terms apply specifically to the Diwali Mithai Personality Quiz (“Contest”) in addition to the general UGC Contest Terms & Conditions:

1. Contest Period 

The Contest will run from 16th October 2025 to 23rd October 2025. Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered.

2. How to Participate

i. Participants must visit https://foodiesonly.in/quiz/diwali

ii. Complete the quiz by answering all the questions asked in the quiz found on the above mentioned Foodies Only page.

iii. Agree to the terms and conditions and provide the required details mentioned.

iv. Note: please submit a valid mobile number so that we can contact you in case you are selected as the winner.

3. Winner Selection

i. Entries will be judged by Foodies Only (or an appointed jury) based on creativity, originality, and visual appeal.

ii. Winners will be announced after the Contest Period on Foodies Only’s website and/or official communication channels.

iii. Potential winners will be contacted via the mobile number provided. If no response is received within five (5) working days, the Company may select an alternate winner.

4. Prizes

i. Details of the prizes will be announced on the contest page.

ii. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

iii. The company reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value.

5. User details

i. By submitting their details, participants grant Foodies Only the right to use the collected user related information for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes across digital and offline media, without further compensation.

User-Generated Content (UGC) Contest Terms & Conditions

 

From time to time, Foodies Only may organize contests, challenges, or campaigns that involve

user-generated content submissions such as photos, videos, recipes, or stories. By participating

in any such activity, you agree to these additional Terms & Conditions (“UGC Contest Terms”),

which apply in addition to our general Terms of Use.

These UGC Contest Terms set out the rules for participation, eligibility, prize allocation, and

related conditions. Each contest or challenge will have its own specific details, including start

and end dates, entry requirements, and prizes, which will be published on the relevant contest

Page.

 

1. Eligibility

i. Contests are open to all citizens of India currently residing in India. Participants below the age

of 18 may participate only with the consent of their parent(s) or legal guardian.

ii. Participants (or their legal guardian if below 18) should have valid government-approved

photo ID proof (passport, voter ID, or driver’s license) available on request, failing which they

may be disqualified.

iii. Employees, contractors, directors, and officers of Foodies Only, its affiliates, agencies, and

their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

 

2. Contest Period

Each contest will specify its start and end dates (“Contest Period”) on the contest page. Entries

submitted outside the Contest Period will not be considered.

 

3. How to Participate

i. To participate, users must follow the instructions provided on the specific contest page. This

may include uploading a photo, video, or recipe, submitting a short description or story, and

providing required details such as name and email address.

ii. All entries must be original, owned by the Participant, and must not infringe on any third-party

rights.

iii. Entries that contain offensive, obscene, or inappropriate material or that promote unsafe or

illegal activities will be disqualified.

 

4. The Prize

i. Winners will be selected based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the contest theme, as judged by the Company or appointed jury.

ii. The prize details will be announced on the relevant contest page. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

iii. The Company reserves the right to substitute a prize with another of equal or greater value.

 

5. Winner Selection

i. Winners will be announced on Foodies Only’s website and/or official communication channels after the Contest Period.

ii. Potential winners will be contacted using the email address provided during entry. If no response is received within five (5) working days, the Company reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternate.

iii. The Company’s decision on winner selection will be final and binding.

 

6. Rights to Submitted Content

i. By submitting content to a contest, you grant Foodies Only a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable, and perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, display, adapt, and share your submission (including your name and likeness, where applicable) across digital, print, and offline channels for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes, without additional compensation.

ii. All submissions must be original. By entering, you confirm that you hold full rights to the content and that it does not infringe on any intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties.

 

7. Liability and Disclaimers

i. The Company is not responsible for lost, delayed, corrupted, or misdirected entries due to technical errors, internet issues, or other factors beyond its control.

ii. The Company will not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of any prize.

iii. The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any contest at its discretion, without prior notice.

 

8. Governing Law

All UGC contests are offered only in India. Any disputes relating to these contests shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru.
