In a blender, add soaked saffron with milk, pistachios, yoghurt, sugar or honey, cardamom powder and a few ice cubes.

Blend everything until creamy and smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.

Pour the smoothie into shot glasses and let them chill in the fridge for about 10 to 15 minutes.

This little chill time really brings out the best in both texture and flavour when it’s time to serve.

Garnish with some chopped pistachios just before serving.
