Description - Step 1

Step 1: Boil the sprouts

If using store-bought sprouts, first rinse them under water. Then, in a pot, add water and a pinch of salt. Bring the water to a boil before adding the sprouts. Cover the pot and let the sprouts simmer and cook for 8-10 minutes. They should be tender but not mushy. Once cooked, turn off the heat, drain the water, and let the sprouts cool.

Step 2: Mix the sprouts and vegetables

Finely chop all the vegetables and add them to a bowl. In the same bowl, add the cooked sprouts, chopped coriander (if using), and chaat masala. Toss it well.

Step 3: Store the salad

In an airtight container, store the salad. Do not add salt, pepper, or lemon at this time. Add it right before serving. This will keep the salad fresh for longer.
