Barfi is a simple yet indulgent Indian sweet made with grated coconut, sugar, cream, and a hint of cardamom. This melt-in-the-mouth treat is perfect for festivals like Diwali, Raksha Bandhan, or even as a quick homemade dessert for family gatherings. The rich, nutty flavour of coconut combined with the sweetness makes it a go-to recipe for all occasions.

Step 2: Cook till golden
Keep stirring the mixture on medium heat for about 15 minutes or until it turns golden brown. The cream and sugar will bind the coconut, creating a smooth, thick texture.

Step 3: Add powdered sugar
Switch off the heat and add powdered sugar. Mix well so that it combines evenly into the hot coconut mixture. This gives extra sweetness and helps in setting the barfi.
