For the assembly and garnish:
100 gmCream cheese (for coating)

½ cupToasted hazelnuts or almonds (chopped)

Description - Step 1

Prepare the bread base

Remove crusts from all sandwich bread slices. Mix olive oil and water in a small bowl. Lightly brush this mixture on both sides of each bread slice to add moisture and prevent drying. Using a rolling pin, carefully flatten each slice to make it more pliable and compact. Set aside on a clean work surface.
