This tricolour kebab, made with three different kinds of kebabs that symbolize the saffron, white, and green of our national flag, is a colourful and delectable celebration of India's culture. This meal is ideal for serving on Independence Day to bring a tri-shade delight to your table, as it features unique flavours, colours, and textures.

200 gPaneer (cubed )
2 tbspHung curd
1 tspKashmiri red chilli powder
4-5Saffron strands (soaked in 1 tbsp warm milk)
1/2 tspTurmeric powder
1/2 tspGaram masala
1 tspGinger-garlic paste
to tasteSalt
1 tbspOil
For Hara Bhara Kebab (Green)
1 cupSpinach leaves, blanched & chopped
1/2 cupsGreen peas, boiled
1 smallBoiled potato
1Green chilli
1 tbspChopped coriander
1/2 tspChaat masala
Salt to taste
2 tbspBread crumbs
Oil for shallow frying
For Malai Paneer Kebab (White)
200 gPaneer, crumbled
2 tbspFresh cream
1 tbspGrated cheese
1 tbspCornflour
1Green chilli, finely chopped
1/2 tspCardamom powder
Salt to taste
Oil or ghee for brushing

Make saffron paneer tikka

  • Mix curd, saffron milk, spices, and oil in a bowl.

  • Add paneer cubes and coat well.

  • Marinate for 30 minutes.

  • Grill or pan-fry until golden on the edges.

Description - Step 2

Make malai paneer kebab

  • In a bowl, mix crumbled paneer, fresh cream, cheese, cornflour, chilli, and cardamom.

  • Shape into small discs.

  • Grill or shallow-fry till lightly golden.

Description - Step 3

Make hara bhara kebab

  • Blend spinach, peas, potato, chilli, and coriander into a coarse mix.

  • Add salt, chaat masala, and bread crumbs.

  • Shape into kebabs and shallow-fry till crisp and green
