Chop the cucumber, bell pepper, and onion into small dice.

Remove the seeds from the tomato and chop it up. Make sure to choose a ripe and firm tomato for the best flavour.

If using a cherry tomato, no need to deseed, just cut them in half

Finely chop some parsley and coriander to add a fresh touch.

In a bowl, mix together some olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, chaat masala, grated ginger, cumin powder, salt, and pepper.

Give these ingredients a good mix.

In a large mixing bowl, add chickpeas and all chopped veggies.

Pour the dressing over and gently toss until everything is coated evenly.

To really enhance the flavour, cover the salad and pop it in the fridge for about 20 minutes. 

This way, all the ingredients can soak up that delicious dressing.
