Instead of the usual espresso soak, this version uses a fragrant turmeric latte blend infused with cinnamon, cardamom and a hint of black pepper. The result is a dessert that’s golden, soothing and aromatic, while still maintaining the familiar creaminess of tiramisu. The mascarpone layer is lightly tinted with turmeric for colour and balance, and the dessert sets beautifully in the fridge, making it a perfect make-ahead option. It’s modern, comforting and ideal for celebrations where you want to serve something classic, but with a fresh cultural twist.

Description - Step 1

Step 1: Prepare the Turmeric Latte Soak

Warm milk with turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper and sugar until aromatic. Cool slightly and add vanilla.

Whisk mascarpone, sugar, turmeric and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped cream.

Step 3: Dip the Ladyfingers

Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the warm turmeric latte mixture. Do not oversoak.

Step 4: Layer the Base

Arrange soaked ladyfingers in a dish to form the first layer.

Spread half the mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers.
