Description - Step 1

Roast Beetroot

Roast the beetroots wrapped in foil at 200°C until soft. Cut into pieces when they have cooled.

Description - Step 2

Blend the Hummus Base

Throw the roasted beetroots, chickpeas (after peeling), tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin and salt into a food processor. Add water little by little to blend until desired consistency is reached.

 

Description - Step 3

Prepare Crackers

On a serving tray, spread out the millet crackers. Spread some beetroot hummus on top of each cracker or pipe it on.

 

Description - Step 4

Add Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle sesame seeds, parsley, and optional chilli flakes or za'atar on top. You can either serve it right away or put it in the fridge for at least two hours.
