Step 1: Prepare the Flax Egg or Banana Substitute

If using flaxseed, mix 1 tbsp flaxseed meal with 3 tablespoons of water in a small bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes until it thickens into a gel-like consistency. This acts as the egg substitute, binding the ingredients naturally.
