Description - Step 1

Cook Chickpeas

Rinse the soaked chickpeas and drain. Pressure cook with ½ to ¾ cup water and salt for 3 to 4 whistles on medium heat, until soft yet firm. Avoid overcooking, as they should hold their shape. Drain excess water completely and set the cooked chickpeas aside to cool slightly.
