1 tspOil (for tempering)

Description - Step 1

Step 1: Prepare the Corn

Start by boiling or steaming the sweet corn, then drain it and set it aside before mixing the ingredients.

Step 2: Temper Spices

Place a small pan on the stove and add 1 teaspoon of oil. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter in the heated oil. Fry the curry leaves until they turn crisp, then remove from the heat.

Step 3: Mix the Chaat

Toss the corn with the whole spices, finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilli, coriander and shredded coconut. Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Step 4: Finish and Serve

To finish it off, top with some sev and fried curry leaves, and serve fresh before the corn gets soggy.
