½ tspCardamom powder
2 tbspGhee

2 tbspCashew (coarsely ground)
2 tbspAlmonds (coarsely ground)
For instant khoya (mawa):
2 tspGhee
¾ cupMilk
1 cupMilk powder

Description - Step 1

Step 1: Prepare the khoya

  • Heat the ghee in a non-stick pan.

  • Add milk and bring it to a gentle simmer.

  • Slowly mix in the milk powder, stirring continuously.

  • Cook on low flame until it thickens into soft khoya (mawa). Your instant khoya is ready. 

  • It can also be stored and stays fresh in the refrigerator for up to a week.
