Dry Fruits (Cashew, almonds, raisins)
a few each
Kodo millet (washed and soaked for a few hours)
½ cup
Jaggery Powder
1+1/4 cup
Milk
2.5 cups
Saffron
6-7 strands
Salt

Directions

Cook the dry fruits

In a wok, heat up some ghee and gently fry the dry fruits until they're golden and aromatic. Keep aside.

Cook the millet

Next, add the soaked millets to ghee and sauté them together. Pour in the milk and allow it to simmer for a delightful 30 minutes.

Now, let's enhance the richness by adding a few strands of saffron. Cover the mixture for a few minutes to let the flavours meld and thicken slightly. Once it reaches the desired consistency, gently stir in the jaggery powder. Finally, sprinkle in the fried dry fruits and give it a good mix.
