Remove the crusts from the white bread slices and cut them into triangles or squares.
In a saucepan, heat milk and sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves.
Add cardamom powder and saffron Mix well and remove from heat.
In a separate pan, heat ghee over medium heat. Fry the bread slices until golden brown on both sides.
Layer the fried bread slices in a baking dish, sprinkling chopped nuts and raisins between each layer.
Pour the prepared milk mixture over the layered bread slices, ensuring they are fully soaked.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
Bake the assembled Double Ka Meetha in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the milk mixture is set.
Once baked, allow the Double Ka Meetha to cool slightly before serving.
Serve warm, garnished with additional chopped nuts and a drizzle of sugar syrup or honey, if desired.
