Description - Step 1

Step 1: Prepare Meatloaf Mix

In a large bowl, mix together thyme, Worcestershire sauce, the egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, milk and minced meat. Gently mix everything to combine. To avoid a tough loaf, mix the minced meat carefully instead of overmixing.

Step 2: Shape & Bake

Roll out the batter into a loaf and set it in a greased pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 180°C.

Step 3: Make Glaze & Finish

To make the glaze, stir mustard, brown sugar, and ketchup together. Bake the meatloaf for a further 10 minutes, or until the glaze is shiny. After taking the meatloaf out of the oven, generously coat it with the glaze. Put it back in the oven for 10 minutes to get a lovely caramelised glaze.

Description - Step 4

Step 4: Serve

Allow the meatloaf to rest for ten minutes and then slice. You can warm it up before serving.
