Description - Step 1

Step 1: Soak sabudana

  • Start by rinsing the sabudana thoroughly until the water runs clear. 

  • Then, soak it for about 4 to 6 hours, or you can leave it overnight. Make sure to drain it completely afterward.

Description - Step 2

Step 2: Tempering

  • Heat ghee in a pan, then toss in the cumin seeds and let them sizzle. 

  • Next, add in the green chillies and curry leaves and let it sauté for a minute.

Step 3: Add potatoes

  • Toss in some diced boiled potatoes and sauté them for a few minutes or until they turn a lovely golden brown.

Step 4: Adding sabudana

  • Add soaked sabudana, rock salt, sugar (if using), and ground peanuts. 

  • Cook on medium flame, stirring gently until sabudana turns translucent.

Step 5: Finishing

Turn off the flame, drizzle some lemon juice over the dish, and sprinkle it with fresh coriander. Serve it hot and enjoy.
