2 tspGhee
1 tspCumin seeds (jeera)
a pinchAsafoetida (hing)
¼ teaspoonTurmeric powder (haldi)
to tasteSalt
as required Water

Description - Step 1

Step 1: Soak the bajra

  • Rinse ½ cup bajra thoroughly under running water.

  • Soak it in enough water for about 8 hours or overnight to soften the grains.

  • Once soaked, drain the water and keep aside.
