Paan leaves

Desiccated coconut
1.5 cups
Cardamom powder
1 tsp
Milk powder
1 tbsp
Milk
1/2 cup
Sugar
2 tbsp
Gulkand
2 tbsp
Dry fruits
1 tbsp
Saunf
1 tsp
Tooti frooti
2 tbsp
Green food colour

Directions

Prepare the mixture

In a blender, combine paan leaves, milk, sugar, and green food color. Blend until smooth.

Make the Paan Filling

In a bowl, mix gulkand, dry fruits, saunf, and tooti frooti until well combined.

Cook the mixture

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, then add desiccated coconut and sauté for a minute. Next, pour in the blended paan paste and cook until the mixture combines well and starts leaving the sides of the pan. Let the mixture cool completely.

Shape and Serve

After the mixture cools, grease a modak mould with ghee. Press the mixture into the mold on both sides, creating a cavity in the center. Carefully fill the hole with the gulkand mixture, then seal the base firmly. Garnish with edible silver vark and tooti frooti. Your homemade Paan Modak is ready to enjoy!
