Description - Step 1

Infuse the milk with spices

  • In a medium saucepan, pour the milk and add the crushed cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, and cloves.

  • Set the pan on medium heat and warm the mixture until it’s just about to boil; this should take around 4 to 5 minutes.

  • Once small bubbles begin to appear along the edges, remove from the heat immediately to prevent boiling over.
