Garlic

Lemon juice

Dijon mustard
1 tbsp
Turmeric powder

Brown rice, cooked

Carrot, sliced
1
Red cabbage, shredded
1 cup
Avocado, sliced
1
Cherry tomato
1 cup
Spring onion for garnish

Directions

Season the Chicken

Take a mixing bowl and add the chicken, salt, and turmeric powder. Mix well so that everything is properly combined.

Cook the Garlic

Heat some oil in a pan, and add the garlic. Cover the lid and cook till the garlic softens.

Cook the Chicken

In the same pan, heat some more oil and add the marinated chicken. Cover the lid and cook till the chicken is completely cooked.

Prepare the Dressing and Assemble the Bowl

  • Add the cooked garlic clove, mustard paste, black pepper, lemon juice, salt, and water. Blend properly, till you get a flavorful dressing. 
  • Start assembling the Buddha Bowl. Add some brown rice to a bowl and top it off with shredded red cabbage, sliced carrot, sliced avocado, cherry tomatoes, and the cooked chicken. Pour the dressing on top. Garnish with spring onions, and serve this delicious meal in a bowl.
