Description - Step 1

Step 1: Prepare The Tray

Grease a square or rectangular tray with ghee and keep it ready. This will help you transfer the hot Mysore Pak mixture easily when it’s done.

Step 2: Make Sugar Syrup

In a thick-bottomed pan, mix sugar with water. Boil until it reaches one-string consistency. Stir continuously to avoid overcooking.

Step 3: Add Gram Flour

Add sifted gram flour slowly to the sugar syrup, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Make sure it forms a smooth paste.

Step 4: Add Ghee In Parts

Pour hot ghee slowly into the mixture, a little at a time, while stirring continuously. The mixture will start bubbling and leave the sides.

Step 5: Set And Cool

Once the mixture turns frothy and light, pour it into the greased tray. Flatten it gently and let it cool for 10–15 minutes before cutting into squares or diamonds.
