Directions
Prepare the yeast
To start, mix lukewarm water with sugar and yeast in a small bowl. Allow it to rest for about 10 minutes until it becomes frothy. Set it aside.
Prepare the dough
In a spacious mixing bowl, blend the all-purpose flour, salt, and olive oil. Pour in the activated yeast mixture and stir until a dough forms. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover it, and let it ferment for 1-2 hours in a warm corner of the kitchen. In another bowl, prepare a blend of garlic powder, rosemary, and olive oil.
Add Toppings and Bake
Once the dough has fermented, transfer it to a greased baking tray. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Gently stretch and press the dough into the tray, ensuring it covers the surface evenly. Drizzle the garlic rosemary oil over the dough, then use your fingers to create dimples all over. Allow the dough to rise for 20-30 minutes. Once risen, bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the focaccia turns golden brown on top.
Serve and Enjoy
Take the focaccia bread out of the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Then, slice it and serve. Enjoy your homemade Garlic Rosemary Focaccia Bread!
