Grilled paneer sandwiches are made four ways — paneer toast, smoky tandoori, crumbled tikka-style, and a simple grilled version with veggies. These sandwiches are not only delicious but also packed with protein rich foods, making them a satisfying and nutritious meal.

226 g Paneer (cottage cheese)
50 gThick plain yoghurt
5 mlMustard oil
10 gTandoori masala
5 g Kashmiri red chilli powder
2 g Red chilli powder
to tasteSalt
For the Veggie Filling
1 Medium red onion
1Medium green pepper
For Assembling
8Bread slices
100 mlCoriander chutney
100 mlSriracha mayonnaise
10-12Amul cheese slices
as neededButter
Other Sandwich Fillings
30 gGrated carrot
30 gChopped capsicum
30 gBoiled sweet corn
10 gFinely chopped coriander
100-150 gPaneer (crumbled)
30 gTomato (deseeded & finely chopped)
1Green chilli (finely chopped)
2 g Chaat masala
5 ml Lemon juice

Description - Step 1

Marinate the Paneer

In a large bowl, whisk the yoghurt with mustard oil, tandoori masala, Kashmiri chilli powder, regular chilli powder, and salt until smooth. Add the paneer cubes and toss gently until well-coated. Cover and chill for 15-20 minutes.
