In a light-hearted take on the traditional North Indian thandai recipe, we present the Frozen Thandai Slushie. It’s a delightful slush made from traditional thandai, a blend of nuts, spices, and scented rose, perfect for Holi get-togethers and summer celebrations. This dessert-drink combines the best of modern and traditional flavours, delivering a burst of flavour and aroma in every frosty sip.
In a bowl of warm water, soak the following for half an hour: almonds, cashews, pistachios, melon seeds, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, cardamom, and peppercorns. Soaking ensures deeper flavour extraction and a smooth, creamy paste.
