A recipe for Dahi Tadka, a creamy and delicious yogurt dish made from curd and tempered spices.

Ingredients

Oil
1 tbsp
jeera
1 tsp
garlic
1 tbsp
green
chilies
ginger
1/2 inch
chilies
4 red
curry leaves
8 to 10
small onion

Red chili powder
1/2 tbsp
jeera powder
1 tsp
Salt to taste
Kasuri methi
1 tsp
beaten curd
2 cups
Coriander for garnish

Directions

Sauté the Spices

Heat some oil in a pan, and add jeera, ginger, garlic, green chilies, red chilies, onion, and curry leaves. Sauté well. 

 

 

Add the Tadka

To the above mixture, add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and kasuri methi. Mix properly. 

Beat the Curd

Turn off the flame and let the tadka cool a little. Add the beaten curd to the tadka, and mix well. Serve!
