These Sweet & Spicy Glazed Batata Vada Skewers take Mumbai’s favourite vada pav filling and give it a street-fusion makeover. Crispy gram-flour-coated potato balls are glazed with a tangy, tamarind-chilli sauce and served on skewers, combining crunch, spice, and a touch of sweetness in every bite. Ideal as a party snack or festive appetiser, these skewers turn the humble batata vada into something spectacular.

Description - Step 1

Step 1: Prepare the Potato Filling

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, ginger, garlic, and green chillies. Sauté for 1 minute, then add turmeric and mashed potatoes. Mix well with salt. Cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant. Cool slightly and shape into 10–12 small balls.
