Description - Step 3

Roast the sweet potatoes & toast the Pecans

Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and let the sweet potatoes roast for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, roughly chop the pecans. After the initial 20 minutes of roasting, add the chopped pecans to the dish, stir well, and continue roasting for another 15-20 minutes. You'll know they're ready when the sweet potatoes are tender and the liquid has thickened into a sticky glaze. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!
