Turmeric powder
1/2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste
1/2 tbsp
Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp
Cumin powder
1/2 tsp
Coriander powder
1 /2 tsp
Red chili powder
1/2 tsp
Garam masala
1/2 tsp
Water
1/4 cup
Oil
3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Directions

Prepare the chhana and Make the Patty

Take a bowl and mix the cottage cheese, rice flour, garam masala, and salt. Use your hands to press it and form a dough, ensuring that it is soft. 

Take a small portion of the dough and shape it into a round ball. Press this ball between your palms to flatten it. Make chhanna patties with all the dough in this manner.

Fry the Patty

Take a pan and add some oil. Shallow fry the chhana patties. Once golden brown, flip. In the same oil, shallow fry the potatoes. Add the salt and red chili powder, and mix well.

Prepare the Gravy

Take a separate pan and heat some oil. Add the bay leaf, laung, elaichi, dal chini, whole red chili and cumin seeds. Mix everything properly. Add salt and red chili powder.

Make the Gravy

Add the ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder. Add the tomato purée and mix properly. Once the oil separates from the gravy, add the fried potatoes. Add the water and mix well.
