Description - Step 1

Brown the onions

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and a splash of water (about 2-3 tablespoons). Cook, stirring frequently, until the onions soften and turn translucent. Continue adding small splashes of water as needed to prevent burning and help the onions brown.
