Misal Pav is one of Maharashtra’s most loved street food dishes. A fiery curry of sprouts topped with farsan, onions, and lemon juice, served with soft pav buns, it is the perfect mix of heat, crunch, and comfort. This recipe balances spice with freshness, giving you the authentic Mumbai-style Misal Pav at home.
Add oil to a pan over low heat. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and stir until they splutter. Add 1 tsp turmeric powder and sauté for a minute until fragrant. Add boiled potatoes and fry until lightly golden. Keep aside.
