2 tbspChana dal (split Bengal gram)
4Dried red chilies
10Curry leaves
1/4 cupRoasted peanuts
1/2 tspTurmeric powder
1/4 tspRed chilli powder

Roast the Spices

In a pan, toast black peppercorns, mustard seeds, and sesame seeds until fragrant and lightly browned. Once toasted, grind the seeds into a fine powder.
